It often seems impossible to make that complete lifestyle change. A sudden switch from burgers to veggie wraps and from sodas to smoothies. Few people are able to make abrupt changes to their food and drink choices, instead, most successfully transformed foodies spent some time dreaming about it before actually acting on it. Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the US and around the world. In essence, by taking better care of our heart, we could possibly add a few hours, days or maybe years to our lives. While eating healthy does not guarantee perfect health and long life, we can enjoy better quality of life by adopting a healthy lifestyle and sticking to it.
My personal goal is to feel stronger, stop the pain in my knees and hopefully lose a lot of weight in the process. I plan on achieving this through a healthy diet; not the quick fix types that we embark on to lose some weight before the summer, but the sort that becomes a new normal for us.
I choose Life & Health... who's with me?
